I am, often, asked how it feels to be a young mum.
Sometimes, I don't know what to say. Being a young mum, it is hard but it is fun.
I got pregnant when I was 19, futagochan was born when I was 20. A lot of people told me that I would miss out the fun etc but to be honest, I got bored with partying and stuff. So when I found out I was pregnant, I knew what my priorities were. I had no problem staying at home, looking after DH and futagochan. DH had been encouraging me to go out so I could have some me-time but at that time, I felt I wasn't ready to go out by myself.
Every time I went out by myself, I always felt something missing. No stroller to push, no diaper bags. I just started to go out recently because I found it hard to go out with futagochan. They refuse to sit on their stroller so I barely use stroller, not to mention when they throw tantrum.
Being a young mum, doesn't limit my activities. I still go to uni. Well, I had to hold back my uni because at that time, I couldn't cope well with newborns etc but it didn't stop me from finishing my study. I really don't understand young mums who give up their education and don't wanna pursue it. Education is really important you know. When you have a degree, you are more likely to get a better job to support your children. The reason I decided to continue my study is because of futagochan as well.
People often underestimate me cos I am a young mum, they think I know nothing bout raising children cos I am young. Well. honestly, I knew nothing but over the pas 2.5 years, I learnt how to raise children, how to cook children's food, and yet many more learning to do in the future.
When you see a young mum, please DO NOT stare and whisper cos it's really rude. When futagochan and I were in Indonesia, people were starring at us and they even whispered. How rude that was?!?! Mostly obaachans but I found a really nice obaachan, she had twins and she said it was a lot of hard work but at the end it was all worth it.
Apparently, it does not only happen in Indonesia. Even in here, I was at the warehouse stationary with futagochan and Sca. There were bunch of Indonesian, walking passed us, and 1 of them said with pretty loud voice, "is she their mum???" I turned my back and starred at them. I found it really rude! However, it did not stop there. When we were paying at the cashier, these people were there. They were starring at us. It was bloody obvious. So Sca and I decided to walk passed them. Sca talked to me in Indonesian, and they were so shocked. The people they were talking about actually shared the language. HA!!!
I remember I have a friend who envy me cos I am married and have kids. She wanted to get married but her parents did not allow her until she finished her study. I told her it's not as easy as she might think. Caring baby took so much energy, not to mention when they're crying non-stop. She told me if that's the case, she could ask her nanny to take care of her baby.
Well, last year, she finally got married and probably 3 months ago, she gave birth. From what I could tell, she found it hard and frustrating so she ended up hiring a full time nanny. One of her friend told her the same thing she told me, envy cos she's married and have a baby. Surprisingly, she told her that it's better to wait until she's ready...
Anyway, we are gonna have fish and chips for tonight, along with salad. Better start preparing dinner now >,<

Weekend
I have become a brunette. I was sick havin blonde hair. I was really bored then I realized I had 4 colors, black, dark blonde, medium brown, and light brown. Wasn't planning to change it anytime soon but when I went to the warehouse to get pudding cups, I found they're having sale for Schwarzkopf either essential or brilliance 2 boxes for $20. It was to good to be missed so I took 2 boxes of light brown right away.
When I was dying my hair, DH came home and he decided to help me but but but he kept saying "you need to comb your hair!!"
Back to my weeknd. Well, nothing better then spending a Sunday night with a good friend.
My girl, Sca, came to my apartment. She had been stayin in Oz for 3 weeks and it was really good to catch up with her. She gave me bronzer-eyeshadow-blusher, a cookie book (it comes with cookie cutters), and also 2 soft toys for futagochan.
We waited until DH came home and we went to tanpopo. Man, they have the best ramen in Auckland. DH and I used to go when we were dating until I was heavily pregnant but after futagochan were born, we found it hard to go and have lunch/dinner outside.
Oh, so Sca and I ordered Tonkotsu shoyu ramen and extra noodle. We were starving. Well, it didn't take that long to finish it. After that, we went to hulucat to drink pearl tea (I believe Japanese say it tapioca). I ordered lychee slushy with pearl, cheesy French fries, and Original Belgian waffle. I can't remember what Sca ordered. I only remember it's less sugar.LOL.
We had a really good time. Eavesdropping other people conversation. Well, they talked loud enough for us to hear it.

Japanese Cosmetic
Well, I am totally in love with Japanese drug store cosmetics. It is so cheap yet really good. So when DH went to Japan last Dec, I asked him to get canmake gradation eyeshadow and dollywink falsies. He came back with dolly wink eyeshadow palette no 1 and some everdoll falsies. Oh, he bought me dolly wink mascara too. It was so funny. He called me from Japan, "do you wanna get black liquid for your eyes???" I had no clue what the hell he was talking about but he bought it anyway and it turned up to be dolly wink mascara..sigh.guys.
In June this year, he went back again. I asked him to get me candy doll face powder, dollywink falsies no 1 and 6, and canmake cream cheek. This time I made sure he got the right items for me. I sent the pictures of the items I wanted so many times. hihihi. Well, when he came back, I was surprised. He got the right items.
So he bought a candy doll face powder (¥1680), a dolly wink limited edition, no 1, and no 6 (each ¥1200) and a canmake cream cheek no 9 (can't remember the price but probably around ¥600)

As far as I know, there are 2 shops that sell Japanese cosmetic but I have never bought anything from there. Well, I bought wonder eyelid tape but that's it. Why? Because it's really expensive. For canmake cream cheek, they sell it for bout $29 and if I bought it in Japan, it would only cost me prob about nz$10. They almost triple the price. Even dollywink falsies, it's bout $50 here in NZ (¥1260 is around nz$20). I won't spend that much money only for falsies. So whenever DH orders stuff from amazon.co.jp or when he goes back to Japan, I always ask him to get some cosmetic for me. He complains (he's a guy but he buys cosmetic rah rah) but he still buys it for me.
I went to Dressmart few weeks ago. I checked cotton on and found usamimi so I bought it right away. Was so surprised it only costed me $2 cos it's $6 according to the price tag.

Who am I?
So who am I?
I am a mother, a wife, a student, a daughter, and a sister. I love cosmetics and shoes. I was born in Indonesia but have been living in New Zealand for the past 6 years but I always consider New Zealand as my home. I have a really strong connection to Japan and it's like my second home.
I love my make up kits. I might blog about it later.
I love to eat. I cook (mostly Japanese food). I am so into crime tv series. I stop going to cinema since 2008. I prefer to watch movies at home.
I can never resist ice cream but I don't really like chocolate.
Last but not least, I am who I am and I am not perfect.
